Not every BCBA who applies gets listed
Anyone can build a directory. We check the licence, sit down with the clinician, and run a criminal background check before a single family sees their profile. Then we match on the things that actually decide whether therapy can happen: where you live, what your child needs, and what your insurance will cover.
Free for families. Free for BCBAs to list.

Four gates, and any one of them can stop an application
This is the slow, unglamorous part of running a marketplace, and it is the reason ours is smaller than it could be.
They apply, in full
A long-form application covering credentials, specialisms, the ages they work with, the states they're licensed in and the payers they accept. Incomplete applications don't reach a reviewer.
We check the licence
Licence number and issuing state are reviewed against the states they're asking to practise in. Licensure is a legal constraint, not a preference, so this is where most of the rejections happen.
They talk to our clinical team
A real interview with people who have run ABA programmes themselves. This is the part that doesn't scale, and it's the part we refuse to drop.
Criminal background check
Run through Checkr before anyone is listed. Results come back to us directly, and a listing doesn't go live until the report clears.
Scored on what decides whether therapy can actually happen
You answer questions about your child, where you are, what you're dealing with and how you want sessions delivered. Every approved provider is scored against all of it, and you see the ones who fit. In order of how much each one counts:

- 1State licensure
The provider has to be licensed where your child actually is. This is weighted highest because it's the law, not a preference.
- 2How you want sessions delivered
Telehealth, in person, or both.
- 3Specialisms
Matched from what you told us you're dealing with, not from a keyword search.
- 4Age group
Early intervention and adolescent work are different jobs.
- 5Insurance
We match your plan against the payers each provider accepts. Self-pay families aren't penalised for having no plan on file.
- 6Provider gender
Only counts if you asked for it.
- 7Years of experience
Only counts if you set a minimum.
We check Aetna, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, TRICARE East and 1150+ more
Your plan is verified against the payer directly, and your matches are filtered to the providers who actually accept it. Coverage always depends on your specific plan and the provider you choose, so we check rather than guess.
You can see the progress, not just hear about it
Your BCBA runs the whole programme on BCBANow, which means the VB-MAPP or Essential for Living scores, the targets they're teaching and the session data behind them are all in one place. Progress becomes something you can look at between reviews rather than something you have to wait to be told.
We build the official VB-MAPP and Essential for Living apps for their authors. It is the same scoring, not an approximation of it.

Get referrals that were already going to fit
The same vetting that makes families trust the directory is what makes being in it worth something.
Free to list
No listing fee and no subscription to appear in the marketplace. If we never send you a client, it never costs you anything.
You set your own rates
We don't set your prices or tell you what to charge. You publish your rates and your availability, and families book against them.
Referrals that already fit
Families reach you having been matched on your licensure, your specialisms, the ages you serve and the payers you accept. Fewer consultations that were never going to work.
The practice software comes too
Assessments, data collection, supervision, scheduling and billing are the same system your marketplace clients land in. Nothing to bolt on.
Questions
From both sides of the marketplace.

How many BCBAs get through?+
Fewer than apply. There are four gates, and an application can stop at any of them: an incomplete profile, a licence that doesn't cover the states they want to work in, the interview, or the background check. We would rather have a smaller directory that we stand behind.
Does the marketplace cost families anything?+
No. Finding a BCBA, the consultation, messaging and video sessions are free for families. You pay for therapy the way you would anywhere else: your provider bills your insurance, or you pay them directly if you're self-pay.
What if the match isn't right?+
Tell us and we'll match you again. The consultation exists precisely so that both sides can find out before anyone commits to a course of treatment.
Do I have to use the marketplace to use BCBANow?+
No, and this is worth saying plainly. Practice management and the marketplace are separate products. Plenty of practices run their entire caseload on BCBANow without ever taking a referral from us, and you can opt your practice out of the marketplace entirely.
What does it cost a provider?+
Listing is free. A revenue share applies only to clients we introduced you to, and it shrinks as the case matures. Clients you brought yourself are always 0%. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
Can I see progress once therapy starts?+
Yes. Assessment scores, programme targets and session data live in the same system your provider works in, so progress is something you can look at rather than something you have to ask about at a review meeting.
Tell us about your child
A few questions, and we'll show you the vetted BCBAs who can actually take you on. It costs nothing and you are not committing to anything.
